Research Specialist IV

Charles River employees have worked together for 75 years to assist in the discovery, development, and safe manufacture of new drug therapies. As a Research Specialist IV, you will provide research and technical support services, working in partnership with research staff members in biomedical research. You will plan, execute, and arrange laboratory experiments, develop new techniques and procedures, and perform various laboratory techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of experience with zebrafish, including breeding, genotyping, microinjection, and microscopy, as well as cell culture experience and molecular biology
• Masters degree/Phd with 3 years will also be considered
• Ability to design and perform experiments while managing and supporting multiple studies running concurrently
• Knowledge to apply experience, investigate concepts, and solve technical and scientific problems related to the position
