IT Security Engineer

Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware. Conduct security assessments, plan, develop, implement and update company’s information security strategy. Analyze and develop the integration, testing, operations, and maintenance of systems security.

Requirements

• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware
• Coordinate with cross-functions to advocate secure coding practices and escalate concerns
• Install software that monitors systems and networks for security breaches and intrusions
• Conduct security assessments, plan, develop, implement and update company’s information security strategy
• Determine deviations from acceptable configurations, enterprise or local policy; assesses the level of risk; and develops and/or recommends appropriate mitigation countermeasures
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and other security reviews of systems, and prioritizes remediation based on the risk profile of the asset and guidance from senior or executive management
• Prepare documentation for further reference
