Job Description
Chart is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines and equipment in the machine shop area, including horizontal and vertical mills, drill presses, and saws. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and a high school diploma or GED.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of experience
- Industry knowledge preferred
- Ability to read prints and interpret machining requirements
- Ability to set up and operate machines and equipment
- Ability to modify and use tooling and fixturing
- Ability to use measuring devices to close tolerances
- Ability to use math using decimals and fractions
- Ability to understand good machining practices
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Ability to check and verify that all parts meet requirements and specifications
