Welder 6 position requires performing complex and critical welding operations, including Mig, Tig, and Pipe welding. The job involves working with various types of metals and equipment, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as technical welding experience.
Requirements
- Perform Mig and Tig plate Welding on various parts
- Pipe welding
- Plasma Tig welding
- Perform manufacturing activities with minimal instruction and supervision
- Previous experience performing Mig and/or Tig Welding
- Pipe Welding experience is required or able to obtain within your certification period
- Ability to comprehend complex blueprints and weld symbols
- Experience with air-arc gouging and operation of plasma cutting machines
- Successful ability to pass company welder certification tests within 4 weeks of start
