Job Description
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting the Finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting while maintaining compliance with Chartwell Retirement Residences’ policies and objectives.
Requirements
- University degree in Business/Finance related
- CPA designation (CA, CGA, CMA) or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Canadian GAAP
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office, Intermediate to Advanced Excel
- Public company experience
- Knowledge of industry specific accounting principles
