Middle School (6 - 8) Science Teacher

The Middle School Teachers are the heartbeat of East Tennessee's only public, bilingual school. They are responsible for the daily implementation of the ChattAcademy vision and the first line of support for students and families.

Requirements

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for core subjects
• Deliver dynamic lessons that motivate students to think critically and foster social-emotional learning
• Use data and assessments to inform instruction and provide differentiated support to students
• Build positive classroom culture through consistent routines, clear expectations, and relationship building
• Serve as an advisory mentor to a group of 10-15 students
• Partner with families through regular communication and cultivation of trust
• Contribute to the growth of the school through collaboration, reflection, and continuous improvement
