Job Description
The Center for Human Development (CHD) is hiring Recovery Coaches to provide direct support to individuals with addiction and substance use issues. The position includes a partnership with Cooley Dickinson Hospital and requires a personal recovery experience, minimum two years of sobriety, and strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Candidate who identifies as being in recovery from a substance use disorder
- Minimum two years of sustained sobriety
- Knowledge of the needs, concerns and goals of individuals who struggle with addiction
- Completion of the Recovery Coach Academy (preferred but not mandatory)
- Reliable, registered & insured vehicle and approved driving record check
- Approved criminal background check (CORI)
