Job Description
The Assistant Production Supervisor supports daily manufacturing operations, coordinating production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards, and working closely with management to monitor workflow and support staff.
Requirements
- Assists the Production Supervisor in coordinating daily production activities
- Monitors machines and production lines to ensure output, quality, and safety standards
- Provides technical and operational support to operators
- Ensures accurate completion of production documentation and reporting through ERP systems such as PLEX
- Supports implementation of engineering changes, production trials, model changes, and pilot builds
- Assists in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the production floor
- Supports training of operators on equipment, processes, and standard work instructions
- Assists in monitoring employee attendance and reporting concerns to the Production Supervisor
- Supports Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities
- Supports production boards, shift communication, and visual management systems
