Head of Strategy & Corporate Development

As our next Head of Strategy & Corporate Development, you'll shape the direction of Checkatrade, owning our strategic narrative and driving initiatives for growth. You'll work across long-term strategy, investor storytelling, and execution, partnering with senior leaders to turn ideas into action.

Requirements

• Experience in strategy, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or top-tier consulting
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to build models, challenge assumptions, and think through trade-offs
• Confidence operating across both big-picture strategy and detailed execution
• Proactive, self-starting mindset with a bias for action
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence senior stakeholders
• Clear communication skills, able to turn complex thinking into simple, compelling narratives
• Collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and openness to feedback
