Job Description
Join Checkly as a Senior Backend Engineer and empower developers and agents to own and ensure application performance and reliability. The role involves hardening and expanding the backend, working with a team to deploy Clickhouse instance, and improving the status pages product. The team is fully remote, and the job requires experience in building applications in a professional product environment with TypeScript and distributed systems on AWS/GCP or bare metal servers.
Requirements
- Deep experience in building applications in a professional product environment
- TypeScript (Go is a plus)
- Experience building distributed systems on AWS/GCP or bare metal servers
- Good communication skills in spoken and written English
- Autonomous and self-motivated in a remote environment
- Ability to contribute across the stack and learn new things
