Checkmate is a restaurant technology solution provider seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails, React.js) to build and scale systems that power their core applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer
• Expert proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of core React features including hooks, state management, and robust component design
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• Proven experience with automated testing, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to profile, benchmark, and optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
