Insulation Journeyman

We are looking for an Insulation Journeyman to work in the petrochemical industry installing/removing various types of insulation and jacketing on piping and equipment. The position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. The role involves working from elevated heights, lifting heavy boxes, and traveling 90% of the time to job sites around the country.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• NCCER Certifications preferred but not required
• Minimum 4 years experience; preferably in manufacturing or industrial facilities
• Motivated self-starter capable of working independently and efficiently
• Ability to write legible, routine correspondence and to speak effectively as well as coherently with management and other Chemelex employees
• Knowledge of industrial electricity issues
• Works well within teams
