
Job description
This position provides Process Safety Management oversight and leadership to Chemtrade as part of the Process Safety Team. The role involves developing knowledge and systems to improve Process Safety Management systems, leading Process Hazard Analyses, and representing Chemtrade at industry forums and conferences.
Develop and deliver training on Chemtrade's Process Safety policies, standards, and procedures. Facilitate Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), including HAZOPs, LOPAs, What-Ifs, and Bowties. Report on progress against established targets and participate in and lead incident investigations.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field, a Professional Engineer designation, and 5+ years of Process Engineering and Process Safety Management experience. Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and guidelines related to Process Safety and Design is also required.
