Job Description
CHEP is looking for motivated Pallet Repair Operators to join their Hammond, LA team. The role involves repairing pallets, working with automation and new technology, and prioritizing safety. The team values safety, continuous improvement, quality, and employee well-being.
Requirements
- Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of production tools such as pneumatic nail gun, or other relevant tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- 2+ years previous experience working in an industrial, fast-moving setting with industrial machinery (preferred, not required)
- Lift and carry 78lbs at least 63% of work shift
- Push items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet
- Pull items with a maximum force of 34 lbs./feet
