Assist the Principal/Assistant Principal with organizational leadership, direction, supervision, operations, and accountability at the school. Implement school practices, procedures, and policies for the attainment of the school’s educational philosophy, goals, and objectives and the District’s mission and strategic initiatives. Enhance and support growth and academic achievement of all students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Three (3) years of certified teaching experience
- Basic knowledge of typical office equipment
- Basic knowledge of special education issues
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Intermediate knowledge of effective school discipline and restorative justice practices
- Intermediate knowledge of academic curriculum and effective instructional strategies including innovation
- Intermediate organizational skills
- Intermediate human relations, relationship-building, and leadership skills
- Advanced skills in public relations, conflict resolution, and problem solving
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced interpersonal relations skills
- Advanced planning skills
- Ability to create collaborative relationships with students, staff, parents/guardians, and the community
- Ability to promote and follow the Board of Education policies, District policies, and building and department procedures, protocols, and guidelines
