8th Grade Science Teacher

8th Grade Science Teacher responsible for planning and teaching science curriculum, managing classroom environment, and assessing student progress. Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Education and valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate I or II.

Requirements

• Develops daily and unit lesson plans and a scope and sequence that are thoughtful, goal-oriented and aligned with curriculum and integrate technology
• Maintains a well-managed, orderly, positive, classroom environment conducive to learning
• Provides instruction to students in a variety of planned topics
• Assesses students' needs and learning styles and designs appropriate differentiated instruction
• Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with faculty, administrators, supportive staff, parents and students
