Job Description
CCCS, a community success story in Philadelphia, is seeking a qualified paraprofessional to deliver high-quality learning to students in grades K-8. This role involves providing support to students individually, assisting with behavior plans, documenting issues, and collaborating with a team. The ideal candidate is caring, compassionate, and committed to each student’s success.
Requirements
- At least two years’ experience working with children with social/emotional and behavioral disabilities
- Experience de-escalating students in situations of anger, aggression, or task refusal
- Thorough knowledge of IEP, IDEA, and state/federal special education policies
- Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check Clearance
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Criminal Background Clearance
- TB Test and Pre-employment Physical
