Job Description
Chevron Phillips Chemical is seeking a Process Operator to join their team at their Cedar Bayou plant in Baytown, Texas. The successful candidate will promote a safe environment, ensure environmental compliance, and produce high-quality products. The role requires a dependable and motivated individual with experience in process and mechanical issues, and the ability to work rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends, and overtime.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience OR an Associate degree in Process Technology OR equivalent Military service with 5 years of applicable experience
- Basic computer skills
- Able to read and communicate verbally, written, and electronically in English
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Experienced in troubleshooting process and mechanical issues
- Ability to climb, bend, lift, and perform a wide range of physical activities; ability to work at heights; entry into confined spaces; work in adverse weather conditions; ability to listen and follow instructions
