Job Description
The Pasadena Control Systems Engineer is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operations of the refinery’s process control systems and technology.
Requirements
- In depth experience in process control including design, configuration, support and programming of distributed controls systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Working experience with DeltaV
- Knowledge of SIS system standards and testing protocols
- Awareness of common network architectures used in PCN environment including the Purdue Model
- Demonstrated experience in learning new control technologies and communicating trade-offs effectively to multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and safely
- Experience and knowledge of common industrial work practices
- Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and communicating across multiple functions
