Chiesi USA is seeking a Lead, US Payer Strategy, Marketing & HEOR, Access Marketing, Global Rare Diseases. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of Access and HEOR strategy and develop tactical initiatives for the assigned Rare portfolio. This role will collaborate closely with brand marketing teams and other cross-functional partners to ensure life-changing treatments remain accessible to patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 10 years progressive experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry across key functions such as marketing, market access, contracting, commercial operations, and data analytics.
- At least 5 years directly within market access or HEOR.
- Good understanding of payer segments (Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Part D & B, etc.), reimbursement, and Specialty Pharmacy data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of Market Access insights.
- Strong analytical (qualitative and quantitative), strategic thinking, creativity & problem-solving skills.
- Self-directed and confident, with ability to contribute to shared commitment and goals to achieve high standards of performance.
- Well organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high attention to detail. Demonstrated success with project management.
- Demonstrated understanding of the current US payer environment and Market Access dynamics required.
- History of success in developing market access tactics for use with US payers.
