Chiesi Global Rare Diseases is seeking a Sr. Medical Science Liaison to build key opinion leader partnerships and engage in scientific data exchange with external stakeholders in the assigned Therapeutic Areas across the aligned geography. The role will involve establishing educational and research collaborations, delivering clinical and scientific education, and building long-term peer-to-peer relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Post-graduate residency training along with 3-5 years MSL experience in a relevant Therapeutic Area assigned to the prospective candidate (exception for PhD candidates with requisite experience)
- Builds and leverages strategic internal and external relationships to identify potential opportunities and partnerships to provide value and improve quality of care for providers and patients
- Work effectively on diverse, multi–disciplinary teams to achieve desired outcomes through emphasizing team over self
- Demonstrates discipline and resilience through skillful planning, prioritization, and an ability to execute multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision in a highly dynamic work environment
- High self-awareness and good people sense, maintains a growth mindset, positive attitude, and demonstrates flexibility during challenging situations
- Demonstration of scientific and clinical expertise in assigned therapeutic area, including exceptional clinical, pharmacoeconomic and real-world evidence knowledge and business acumen
- Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication skills
- Education: Completion of a graduate level degree (PharmD., M.D., D.O, DNP, PhD, MSN, MS or equivalent healthcare professional degree) along with relevant clinical experience
