Job Description
The School Based Behavioral Technician will work with students in a school setting to provide intensive behavioral and mental health supports, using behavioral interventions and strategies outlined in the student’s behavioral plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, sociology, education, criminal justice, or other related human services field
- OR a Licensed Registered Nurse with 1 year of experience working in direct care with children/adolescents
- OR a Bachelor’s degree in another field with 1 year of experience working in direct care with children/adolescents
- OR an Associate’s degree or 60 credits toward a bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience working in direct care with children/adolescents
