Job Description
The Activity Specialist will oversee content-specific after-school activities and work directly with participants, families, and school faculty. The role requires experience working with youth in a specialization, such as sports, arts, literacy, or STEM.
Requirements
- Collaborate with site leadership in planning, development, and execution of quality, project-based youth development activities.
- Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with participants, families, and school faculty.
- Coordinate events and functions in specialty area such as showcases, exhibits, productions, culminating events, etc.
- Engage participants in specialty area activities and provide support through encouragement and delivering resources.
- Prepare related paperwork, materials, and implementation supplies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
