Job Description
As the Activity Group Support Worker, you will provide child minding for the siblings of clients participating in the SNAP program under the direction of the SNAP Activity Group Leader. The role requires planning and delivering fun and engaging activities for children ages 2-12 and preparing healthy snacks for the Activity and SNAP groups.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement is 16 years of age
- First Aid Training is an asset
- Completion of a recognized babysitting course is an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- A second language is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work in a respectful manner with groups from diverse backgrounds and experiences
