The Kitchen Aide provides support to carry out kitchen operations, assists with food preparation, and ensures proper food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed. Provides nutrition services that are developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate and support each child’s growth and school readiness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Health Sanitation Certification (i.e., ServSafe) or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
- First Aid and Adult/Child/Infant CPR or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
- Prior experience working in commercial or retail food service and preparation is desired
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
