Job Description
We are seeking an Early Head Start Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a strong background in early childhood education. The teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing learning experiences, establishing a clean and safe learning environment, and supporting the social and emotional development of children. Bus monitoring duties and after-hours family engagement activities are also required.
Requirements
- AAS in Early Childhood Education or related field
- 2 years of early childhood work experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, children, parents, and volunteers
- Ability to supervise others, including assistant teachers, parents, students, and volunteers
- Physical ability to complete assignments given accommodations as required by law
