Children of the Nations is offering a 8 week graduate internship in Malawi, featuring cross cultural training, program assessment, and hands on experience working alongside the International Education Program Lead. This internship offers meaningful cross-cultural work experience that directly supports COTNI’s mission.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a graduate degree program in international development, education, program evaluation, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with digital data collection platforms (KoboToolbox preferred), or strong demonstrated experience in field-based data collection
- Foundational skills in data analysis and visualization (PowerBI and/or R Studio preferred)
- Demonstrated cultural humility and willingness to learn in diverse contexts
- Ability to travel internationally and participate in the 8-week program, including living and working in Malawi
- Demonstrated maturity, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity
- A heart for serving vulnerable children
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with COTN’s faith-based mission
- Commitment to uphold and support COTN’s Values, Vision, Mission, Operating Principles, and Global Safeguarding Policies
