Job Description
This position is responsible for planning, directing, providing and documenting nursing care to patients of the Children’s Clinics.
Requirements
- Adheres to approved standards of triage and nursing practice throughout the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation phases of the nursing process
- Facilitates scheduling of patient appointments to ensure urgent patient needs are met
- Provides supervision/guidance to Medical Assistants to assure effective patient flow as needed
- Collaborates with physician and other care members in the assessment of the patient’s status and delivery of patient care
