Job Description
This position involves working on a telephone triage service responding to calls from parents when local pediatricians' offices are closed. Using symptom-based protocols to assess and advise regarding injuries and illnesses. Ideal candidate comes with at least 5 years of pediatric nursing experience.
Requirements
- 1 year of RN experience; pediatrics highly preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Previous experience in Emergency, Urgent Care, Primary care helpful
- Graduation from accredited school of nursing
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
- Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) within 1 year of employment
