Security Officer 1

Security Officer I will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, staff, and property. Conduct regular patrols, monitor surveillance systems, and respond to incidents and emergencies.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, fire, military, safety, EMS or customer service
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate’s degree (preferred)
• Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T) certification
• Experience with the use of non-lethal weapons
• Healthcare experience (strongly preferred)
• MASADA defensive tactical training within 9 months of employment
• Marcus Crisis Prevention Program (MCPP) Tier 5, or equivalent, within 6 months of employment
• International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) basic certification within 6 months of employment
• Heartsaver or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 3 months of employment
• Valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record
