Advanced Practice Provider, Gastroenterology/Pulmonary (Overnight)

Advanced Practice Providers (APP) are Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistants (PA), or Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) who provide evidenced-based care for the management of patients, including assessment, implementation, and evaluation of a detailed plan of care.

Requirements

• Master's Degree Nurse Practitioner
• Master's or Doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program and eligibility for medical staff credentialing required.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree of Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program and eligibility for medical staff credentialing required.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in the clinical specialty area in which they practice from an accredited program and eligibility for medical staff credentialing required.
• 0 years Minimum of 0 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Nurse Practitioner
• 1. Licensure in the state(s) of clinical practice
• 2. CDS in state(s) of clinical practice
• 3. DEA
• Active national certification with governing body such as PNCB, ANCC, or AANPCB
• BLS certification
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS)
• Clinical Nurse Specialist
• 1. Licensure in the state(s) of clinical practice
• If prescribing controlled substances:
• 2. CDS in state(s) of clinical practice
• 3. DEA
• Active national certification as a clinical nurse specialist by the ANCC
• BLS certification
