Job Description
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing evidenced-based care for the management of patients, including assessment, implementation and evaluation of a detailed plan of care. They demonstrate competency in providing age-appropriate care to patients as defined by certification and training and provide family centered care to meet family needs.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Eligibility for medical staff credentialing
- Licensure in the state(s) of clinical practice
- CDS in state(s) of clinical practice
- DEA
- Active national certification with governing body such as PNCB, ANCC, or AANPCB
- BLS certification
