Job Description
The Nutritionist II will assess clients' nutritional and health risks, prescribe food packages, and provide nutritional instruction in individual and group settings. They will also develop care plans for high-risk individuals, coordinate with the healthcare team, and promote breastfeeding.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Health Nutrition, Nutrition Science, Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- 1 year of experience and/or completed internship in maternal and child health
- Licensed in the District of Columbia or licensed in another state with proof of application for District of Columbia licensure
- Registered Dietitian (preferred)
