Job Description
At Children's Wisconsin, we are seeking an Events Intern to assist with planning certain components of events, including Signature Events and Community Events. The ideal candidate will be working toward a degree in Events, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
- Working toward a degree in Events, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field at an accredited college or university
- Interest in event fundraising
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity/Enthusiasm
- Organizational skills - Ability to manage time and meeting numerous deadlines
- Interpersonal skills - will work with volunteers and staff
- Computer use- limited desktop publishing work and proficient understanding in Microsoft programs
- Car for local travel, minimal (Mileage will be reimbursed)
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 lbs
