Job Description
At Children’s Wisconsin, we believe kids deserve the best. We are seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance of the hospital grounds by removing waste, cleaning the parking structure, trimming hedges and other related tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- One to three months on-the-job training to learn lawn, landscape techniques, snow removal, and operation of motorized snow removal, lawn equipment and parking lot sweeper
- Physical ability to frequently walk and stand for more than 90% of the work time
- Physical ability to frequently kneel, stoop, crawl, bend, twist and squat up to 75% of the work time
- Physical ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing 20 to 45 pounds up to 50% of the work time
