Public Safety Officer

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Public Safety Officer to provide support to Public Safety operations at CW facilities. Duties may include patrol, investigation, record keeping, verbal and physical restraint, and liaison with law enforcement.

Requirements

• Patrol assigned areas of facilities and grounds according to established schedule and investigates unusual occurrences.
• Investigates and writes incident reports on a wide variety of security-related incidents.
• Assists Public Safety Dispatchers working in Communication Center as needed, and dispatches appropriate personnel to perform security assignments.
• Responds to emergency situations of various types.
• Performs Weapon Screening services at designated locations to prevent weapons and other prohibited property from entering Children's facilities.
