The Clinician is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical services to clients and their families, including individual, family, group therapies, crisis intervention, advocacy, assessment, planning, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Requirements
- Valid NYS driver's license
- Licensure by the New York State Department of Education as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW-R) or Licensed Psychologist
- Maintain privacy of confidential information
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Effective and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and ability to be clear, courteous, and professional
- Adaptability in response to change and effectively manage additional responsibilities
- Clinical supervision and CEU trainings
- Corporate Compliance, HIPAA Privacy Security, and Workplace Harassment and Discrimination Training and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, First Aid and CPR
- Compliance with OMH MHOTRS regulations
