Job Description
Children’s International Pediatrics is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The NP will provide healthcare in a family practice clinical setting, focusing on patient care and promoting well-being. The role involves comprehensive assessments, treatment plan development, and communication with patients and providers, with emphasis on telemedicine.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Nursing required
- At least 2 years of experience practicing as an NP in a pediatric or clinic/practice environment required
- Valid LA Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner licenses required
- Maintain all appropriate approvals to prescribe and dispense drugs under applicable Louisiana State and federal law (CDS DEA license)
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Courteous and compassionate bedside manner
