RN/ LPN Respite (PRN - Flexible Hours)

The role of a Respite Nurse is to offer one-on-one time between a child and licensed nurse within the family’s home or community. ChildServe’s respite service allows parents to attend events for their other children, schedule appointments for themselves, or simply take time to recharge.

Requirements

• Current valid license as a RN or LPN in Iowa
• Valid driver’s license with two or fewer violations in the past three years
• Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand
• Ability to communicate effectively in (or through) reading, writing and speaking the English language
