As a Skill Development Parent, you will provide 1:1 personal care, skill development, supervision, and training individualized for your child.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and be a parent of a child receiving services at ChildServe
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to document observations and services accurately
- Basic computer skills and reliable internet access are required for documentation and online training
- Must be willing to transport as an authorized ChildServe driver, with a valid driver’s license (held for 3 years), passing a motor vehicle record and car safety check
- Must have punctual attendance, pass criminal and child abuse background checks, and communicate effectively in English
