Job Description
Assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, provide support in medical procedures, and maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance caregiving skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred
- Experience in critical care, long-term care, assisted living, or home care settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with medical terminology, basic life support (BLS), and vital signs monitoring
- Proficiency in EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner is a plus
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology; experience with phlebotomy is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health issues
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient service
