Accounting Specialist - Summit Ministries

Accounting Specialist position at Summit Ministries, responsible for processing donations, supporting accounting processes, and providing backup to accounts payable and accounts receivable. Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a strong understanding of biblical worldview.

Requirements

• Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and uphold Summit's Statement of Faith and Statement of Convictions
• Process donor gifts and prepare related receipts
• Apply customers' payments and reconcile daily batch deposits
• Provide support to the Summit team with accounts receivable and related collection process
• Provide backup to accounts payable function
• Perform reconciliations and transaction tracking
• Be able to adapt to changing work requirements and other duties as assigned
