Adjunct Faculty Position - Occupational Therapy - Oklahoma Baptist University

Oklahoma Baptist University seeks adjunct faculty appointments in its new hybrid Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program, combining online and on-campus teaching. The ideal candidate must have an occupational therapy degree, current valid occupational therapy license, and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience and 1 year of teaching experience in occupational therapy or a similar program in higher education.

Requirements

• Occupational therapy degree (MOT, MSOT, etc.) from an ACOTE accredited program
• Current, valid non-restricted occupational therapy license
• Oklahoma (OK) state occupational therapy license or eligibility for licensure in OK
• A minimum of 3 years clinical experience as an occupational therapy practitioner
• A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in occupational therapy or similar program in higher education
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.) and online learning platforms (Zoom, Canvas, Blackboard, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and strong computer skills
• Ability to integrate technology within the classroom and build a student-centered community
• Familiarity with online learning management software
• Knowledge of innovative teaching strategies and best practices in teaching and learning
