Equipment Mechanic - Aerospace Industry -2nd shift

Chromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company that develops, manufactures, and repairs critical turbine components for aircraft engines and gas turbines. We are seeking an Equipment Mechanic with 5-7 years of experience in equipment maintenance to join our team.

Requirements

• Must be conversant with 480/220 volts AC used in pumps, starters and solenoids, etc. and be able to use multimeters and amp probes to check such systems.
• Must be proficient in the following trade skills: Stick Welding or Tig Welding, Brazing, Plumbing
• Must be able to read mechanical and electrical blueprints and fabricate from prints.
• Must be able to use cutting and milling machines.
• Must know pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to repair surface media tumbling machinery.
• Ability to repair exhaust / extraction systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair Servo-Drives and DC power supplies.
• Must be capable of running forklift.
• Calibration of plasma and vacuum console gauges.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision.
• Must be able to analyze mechanical and/or design problems as related to the process.
• Must be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writing
