Shared Living (Professional Parent)

We are looking for families to open their homes to a person with disabilities, providing a safe and clean environment, building rapport, support, and advocating for the individual.

Requirements

• All adults in the home must pass a Criminal Background Check
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have experience providing support to individual(s) with disabilities
• Meet home/apartment safety and health requirements
• Complete pre-service training requirements
• Capable of communicating well in both verbal and written form
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Have good judgment
• Have a positive attitude

Benefits

• Monthly payment will be determined based on the level of care needed for the individual
• Room and Board payment
• Daily rate for each day the individual is in your care
