Job Description
The AVP, Executive Underwriter will execute the CHUBB Westchester Specialty Casualty business unit strategy, underwrite individual risks, and supervise employees. The position will work with other CHUBB divisions to drive profitable business development and will be responsible for achieving premium goals and budgets, adhering to underwriting goals and guidelines, and ensuring accurate and timely policy issuance and billing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 8 years of experience in underwriting, preferably in a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others
- Strong understanding of insurance financial fundamentals and actuarial concepts
