Claim Representative

Chubb is seeking a Workers' Compensation Medical Only Claim Examiner to handle claims from California, reporting to our Los Angeles, CA office. The role involves handling all aspects of workers' compensation medical only claims, reviewing and assessing new claims, conducting investigations, and coordinating medical treatment.

Requirements

• Handles all aspects of workers' compensation medical only claims
• Reviews and assesses new medical-only claims
• Conducts initial and ongoing investigations
• Coordinates and authorizes medical treatment for injured workers
• Sets timely reserves and recommends reserve changes
• Reviews claim status and recommends remedial actions
• Maintains 100%+ closing rate
• Maintains detailed and accurate records of all claim activities
• Serves as primary point of contact for claimants, medical providers, and employers
