Commercial Insurance Package Underwriter

We are looking for a Commercial Insurance Package Underwriter to join our team, with a focus on new business development in the middle-market segment. The ideal candidate will have property and casualty technical experience, knowledge, and aptitude to establish underwriting authority and exercise this within Chubb's technical guidelines and best practices.

Requirements

• Underwriting, quoting, and converting new P&C package business in the lower middle-market segment
• Regular engagement with producers and business development managers to develop and execute on a pipeline of opportunities
• Effective trading behaviours, negotiation, and engagement to successfully close new opportunities
• Collaborating with sales and distribution, other lines of business, risk engineering, operations, and underwriting management to effectively deliver the Chubb proposition
• Maintaining underwriting integrity by adhering to Chubb's best practices
• Keeping accurate underwriting records and data
• Representing and promoting Chubb to brokers and building strong relationships with key producers
