AVL Technician

At Churchfront, we are seeking an AVL Junior Technician to join our on-site installation team. This is an entry-level position intended for individuals eager to learn and work diligently in AVL technology. The role involves hands-on experience in audio, video, and lighting installation, with a focus on cable pulling, terminations, equipment mounting, and basic rigging. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of senior technicians and the Installation Foreman, with a commitment to investing in their development and a strong desire to improve every day.

Requirements

• Assist in tasks such as cable pulls, terminations, labeling, testing, equipment mounting, and rack assembly under the mentorship of senior technicians and the Installation Foreman.
• Learn to interpret and follow installation plans and cabling schematics provided by our design and engineering team.
• Take responsibility for the care of tools and equipment, ensuring installation kits are fully stocked and ready for use.
• Keep your team updated—report progress, raise issues promptly, and communicate any material needs to the Foreman or project manager.
• Proactively work on enhancing your skills from your first day—be attentive, take notes, seek feedback, and pursue certifications as they become available.
