Data Governance Analyst

CIBC is building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world, seeking a Data Governance Analyst to support the US Data Management Office's data risk review and control environment. The role requires strong judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to drive accountability across stakeholders.

Requirements

• Conduct data risk assessments for new initiatives, technology changes, and third-party engagements
• Support data sharing governance by gathering and validating information on data sharing use cases
• Oversee and execute data incident management by reviewing submitted incidents and assisting with initial assessment
• Strengthen data quality by conducting data reconciliation activities and identifying data quality issues
